Parent Note

Henderson ABA Basketball Regular Season Tournament begins on Saturday February 7th.

Admission will be charged at all tournaments to help cover the expense of the awards. Admission will be $1.00 for adults and $.50 for students. Preschoolers and ABA Players will be admitted free. If you have more than one child playing at more than one gym, you should pay at all gyms.

Tournament rules are the same as regular season with one exception: coaches will be required to play each player only one full quarter. This rule allows teams with greater numbers of players to compete with those with fewer players.

During the next weeks, coaches for ages 6-13 will be voting on all-star teams. Coaches will be voting by secret ballot for players from opposing teams. We feel this system is the fairest way to select an all-star team. As in any voting there is a fine line between those chosen and those not. Please be assured that we will be as fair as possible.
